Committees of Correspondence were formed throughout the colonies as a means of coordinating action against Great Britain. Since the mainstream media has for all purposes abdicated their responsibility for being the “watch dog of the Republic”, it is now necessary for the “New Media” to take up the cause.
The Gaspée Affair was a ”trigger event” in the lead-up to the American Revolution. As the Federal government continues to confiscate more and more power away from the states, it is only a matter of time before a “trigger event” happens that will decide the fate of the Republic. The Gaspee Gazette is committed to acting as a Committee of Correspondence for North Carolina by sharing stories and commentary concerning, politics, the economy, amnesty for illegals, government run healthcare, violations against the Constitution, and educating North Carolinian’s about the Constitutional concept of Nullification, as we await the trigger event that will give rise to the next George Washington that will lead us to freedom once again.
