Finally a mainstream news outlet has printed a story from a credible, un-anonymous military source about the ridiculous trend of massive hollow-point ammunition purchases by Federal Agencies within our government. See link here from the Friday edition of The Daily Caller blog.
The Maj. General makes a terrifying point towards the end of his op-ed article:
“In the war in Iraq, our military forces expended approximately 70 million rounds per year. In March DHS ordered 750 million rounds of hollow point ammunition. It then turned around and ordered an additional 750 million rounds of miscellaneous bullets including some that are capable of penetrating walls.”
