A recent investigation by Doug Hagmann has uncovered an instance of an old tactic used in Communist Russia to silence opposition. What is the tactic? It is straight out of the “How to Perfectly Execute a Communist Revolution for Dummies” handbook, as Thomas Lifson puts it in the American Thinker:
“The old Soviet trick of defining political opposition as a mental illness”

Kari Norgaard was the “professor” of environment and sociology from the University of Oregon who issued a press release on the university website stating that “skeptics of the man-made global warming theory should be “treated” for their skepticism“. That was only last April.
